Stress prevention week

Stress prevention week

In our new one-week stress prevention program, participants learn to switch off better and improve their ability to relax in order to cope more easily with challenging situations in their professional and private lives. Based on a scientifically evaluated program for stress management, we work primarily with the effect of inner images (so-called "imaginations"). We aim to identify and activate our own individual resources and make them usable for the stressful situations we experience. The focus here is less on hours of theory and more on practical applicability. The program is suitable for people with no previous mental illness who want to learn how to strengthen their mental resilience to stressors in order to stay healthy.
6 nights
  • 04/14/2024-04/20/2024
from € 1,560.-- price per person

The week is based on the following concept: Every human being is exposed to different loads (or stressors). Our organism reacts to these demanding situations with activation reactions. If the perceived burdens become too great, or if the stressors predominate, or if we are unable to counteract them through appropriate mechanisms, this results in an increasing stress load, which in the long run endangers our mental and physical health.

Psychological psychotherapist, certified psychologist Jeannette Trappmann-Schmees
I have been practicing as a licensed psychological psychotherapist in Münsterland for over 26 years. In addition to my practice, I have worked as an emergency psychologist, counseling employees after assaults and training crisis intervention workers for the German Red Cross. Since February 2022 I have also been working as a psychooncologist with oncologically ill patients in various wards of a hospital in Münsterland. My additional training in behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy, psychooncology and emergency psychology is of great benefit to me. In my work, I increasingly focus on how people can better cope with different stresses in their lives or improve their resistance to so-called stressors.

I am happy to share with you methods that are easy to learn and apply and have been proven to lead to improved stress tolerance.
